We believe that you can predict the future of a company by analyzing its past and its projections for the future, which are provided by Corporate Management and investment analysts.
We have demonstrated that it is possible to forecast a company’s future stock price by listening to what the published data is telling you. For example, in the Quarterly and Annual Reports , there is a wealth of quantitative information about Revenue, Cost of Sales, EBIT, Net Income, Market Cap, etc,
These numbers provide useful information - Key Stats and Financial Ratios. For example, the Earnings per Share (EPS) and the Current Market Price provide us with the P/E Ratio (Current Market Price / Earnings per Share). This provides one assessment regarding how expensive this company is compared to others in the same industry (and across industries). So a $4 stock with a P/E of 44 is much more "expensive" than an $88 stock with a P/E of 14.
Of course, you want to use more than just one indicator to determine whether the stock is undervalued. You can consider many other ratios including: Price/Earnings, Price/Sales, Price/Book, Price/Cash Flow, Return on Equity, Return on Assets
Quick Ratio, Current Ratio, Total Debt/Equity, Annual Dividend, etc.
